Kendall Jenner‘s social media “detox” has ended after just seven days.
Last Sunday, Jenner, 21, deleted her Instagram account with no warning. And on Tuesday, the model opened up to Ellen DeGeneres about her reasons for going on a hiatus.
“I just wanted to detox,” Jenner told DeGeneres. “I just wanted a little bit of a break. I would wake up in the morning and look at it first thing, I would go to bed and it would be the last thing I looked at. I felt a little too dependent on it so I wanted to take a minute.”
But on Sunday morning, Jenner shared a series of photos after a night out with friends.
In the first photo, a smiling friend donning a white T-shirt and hat shies away from the camera. She captioned the post, “shy boy by me.”
The subsequent post appears to be at the same event, showing one blissful-looking pal with her hands in the air. “Happy by me,” Jenner wrote in the post.
And the final image in the series is of two men, one of whom looks like Jenner’s close friend, Odd Future’s Taco Bennett. In the caption, Jenner wrote, “return of the mack by me.”
In the same interview last week, Jenner could not get over the buzz in the wake of her account deletion.
“It’s so crazy to me that it even became huge news like that,” she said. “I guess I didn’t expect it. But I also took my Twitter off my phone. I didn’t delete my Twitter [account] entirely but I took the app off my phone. So I had no idea anyone was even talking about it. I didn’t even think anyone would care.”
