Leonard Cohen’s son, singer-songwriter Adam Cohen, took to Instagram Sunday night to pen a heartwarming tribute to his father, following the elder 82-year-old Cohen’s passing last Thursday.
In the tribute, Cohen described the many life lessons that he learned from his remarkable father and what he would thank his father for if he had one more opportunity to talk to him.
“There’s so much I wish I could thank him for, just one last time,” Cohen wrote. “I’d thank him for the comfort he always provided, for the wisdom he dispensed, for the marathon conversations, for his dazzling wit and humor.”
Cohen closed by thanking those who had sent sympathy notes and kind messages following his father’s passing. Read the full tribute below.
