A load of manure was dumped outside the Democratic headquarters of Warren County, Ohio.
“What reasonable person thinks this is OK????” party chair Bethe Goldenfield wrote in a post on Facebook. “I won’t be responding to anyone who thinks this is acceptable behavior.”
Goldenfield noted that someone did the same thing in 2012, but this time, the headquarters are equipped with surveillance cameras. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is reviewing the footage.
“Hopefully the perps will be held accountable for their actions,” Goldenfield told the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Warren County Republican Party chairman Jeff Monroe told the Enquirer that the GOP was not behind the manure dump and offered to help clean up.
The poo pile follows other party headquarter vandalism around the country, including the firebombing of the Orange County GOP headquarters in North Carolina earlier this month.
