Steve Martin and Martin Short were rolling deep on Thursday’s Tonight Show.
Jimmy Fallon was just having a casual conversation with comedian Martin Short backstage at NBC when Short tripped over Fallon’s foot, resulting in an uncontrollable tumble…that just keeps going.
When Short runs into Steve Martin, he too takes to somersaulting through the city’s streets. The duo do manage to pick up some hot dogs and help a woman out with an errant Elmo impersonator on their wacky rolling journey around town, to their credit. The best part, however, might be the quirky, synchronized huffing and puffing noises the two make as they continue to roll right back to NBC, and to Fallon.
Watch the zany clip, featuring the classic physical comedy of two of Saturday Night Live’s greats, above.
