Tom Brady may be one of the most celebrated quarterbacks in the NFL, but when it comes to questions about Donald Trump and his “locker room talk,” Brady dodges them faster than a blitz.
During a weekly press conference, a reporter asked Brady what he thought about the leaked Donald Trump tapes, in which he said he could “do anything” to women. Brady abruptly ended the news conference there, without answering the question, Washington Post reports. A reporter asked Brady, “How would you respond if your kids heard Donald Trump’s version of locker room talk?” Brady then responded, “Thank you, guys, and have a good day.”
In December 2015, Brady referred to Donald Trump as “a good friend of mine,” yet Brady has continued to deflect questions about Trump’s “locker room talk.” Earlier this week, Brady appeared on Boston radio station WEEI’s “Kirk & Callahan” show and was asked whether or not he had spoken to Trump during his Deflategate suspension. Brady said, “I don’t think so. I’ve just been trying to get prepared and so forth.”
