After making waves earlier this week with a statement she made criticizing Angelina Jolie’s handling of her divorce from Brad Pitt on Sirius XM’s Andy Cohen Live, Melissa Etheridge addressed the wide coverage of her comments with an original song on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
The 55-year-old singer — who was friends with Pitt and first wife Jennifer Aniston — revealed that she had been contacted by a member of Jolie’s publicity team before whipping out her guitar to perform her latest tune, “The Fixer Blues.”
“I ain’t picking no fight,” she sings. “None of my business who’s wrong or who’s right anyway, that’s for sure. My opinion is mine and you can take that and a dime and have a good time on your Google search.”
