How to Get Away With Murder star Matt McGorry’s outspoken, unapologetic feminism has earned him such honors as being officially named a “Woke Bae” by Phoebe Robinson, being called a “perfect human” by BuzzFeed and in general being regarded as the ideal male feminist. Now, he’s raising the bar for fellow men with his temporary uterus tattoo.
“My dad and I are #MenForChoice,” McGorry wrote in an Instagram post of him and his father posing with their uteri. The two were attending the 2016 Golden Probes, a star-studded, satirical event “honoring outstanding achievement in the fields of sexism and anti-choice extremism” hosted by the activist organization Lady Parts Justice.
McGorry chose to flaunt his lady parts, raising awareness of the event with the post and his (also temporary) Instagram story. This may make other fellas want to step it up a notch—but really, men, you don’t need a uterus, permanent or temporary, to fight for equality.
