Looks like Netflix decided to celebrate April Fools’ Day by offering up two new Netflix original movies. The first is an action film calling Sizzling Bacon, described as follows: “The boundaries of TV and time go up in smoke with this tasteful, “Memento”-style puzzle that takes the viewer out of the fire and into the frying pan.”
The second new movie is called Rotisserie Chicken and it’s a riveting 73-minute drama that features, well, a rotisserie chicken. Here’s the description of the G-rated film: “In the tradition of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” witness a searing, chronology-defying return to one’s origins that stokes the imagination.”
It appears that people are actually streaming these films — and then writing reviews. The feedback is mostly positive, with viewers deeming the movies “provocative,” “powerful” and “divine.”
