To honor the legacy of the late artist Prince, music stars like Stevie Wonder, Christina Aguilera, Chaka Khan, and John Mayer will gather together on October 13 in St. Paul, Minnesota’s Xcel Energy Center to perform at a tribute concert for their inspiring friend and industry fellow.
The official celebration of Prince’s iconic life and music brings together quite a collection of Prince’s artist contemporaries, including longtime singers like Tori Kelly, Morris Day and The Time, Anita Baker, Doug E. Fresh, and Judith Hill, Rolling Stone reports.
Prince died in April at his Minnesota home, Paisley Park, at the age of 57. Paisley Park is being converted into a showcase for the legendary musician’s work, and it looks like with this tribute concert Minnesota will continue to play host to Prince’s legacy.
