As the two best gymnasts in the entire world, Simone Biles and Aly Raisman have a lot on their plates. Their post-Rio schedules have already been packed with interviews, lip sync battles and baseball pitches, and though they did have time to have a quick meet-and-greet with Zac Efron, they aren’t eyeing anyone else—despite the rumors you may have heard.
“Everyone makes such a big deal about it, because we’re always in the gym, so every time we post a picture with a boy, they think it’s our boyfriend,” Biles told The Cut. “But we’re literally…all five of us on the team are single. We don’t have boyfriends. They’re crazy. I guess they love it, so it’s funny.”
As for Raisman’s much-discussed date with Oakland Raider Colton Underwood? She was a little overwhelmed by the attention: “I like to keep my personal life to myself…just because the video went so viral,” she said in the same interview as Biles. “You know, I’m one of those people [who] just likes to keep everything private.”
As they gear up for more training and the nation-wide Kelloggs tour, Biles said the one thing they’re willing to squeeze into their schedules is meeting influential women. They’ve already hugged Beyoncé, but Zendaya and Demi Lovato are still on their to-meet list.
