More than 70 people were arrested at a weekend party in Ohio Amish country, officials say.
The Holmes County sheriff’s office checked out the party after concerned parents notified them that 1,000 Amish guests were expected to gather on a field in Hardy Township, the Associated Press reports. More than 40 officers appeared on the scene, where they arrested 73 revelers—35 of them juveniles—and charged them with underage drinking.
Several of those taken into custody were also charged with resisting arrest, according to The Daily Record of Wooster.
