Although Kerry Washington plays ultimate fixer Olivia Pope on Scandal, a new Jimmy Kimmel Live! sketch proves there’s one problem even she can’t solve: avoiding a group text.

In a “trailer” that debuted during Thursday’s episode of the late night show, Washington plays a woman who is trying to spend a relaxing night at home when she is suddenly bombarded by an onslaught of group texts. Despite several extreme attempts to stop the incoming messages — including flushing her phone down the toilet and shooting it with a gun — a horrified Washington finally realizes there is no escape.
