Hillary Clinton expressed her support for actress Leslie Jones on Thursday after the Ghostbusters star’s website was hacked, exposing the actress’ personal information and explicit photos.
The Democratic presidential candidate tweeted at Jones, saying “No one deserves this—least of all someone who brings us so much joy.” “I’m with you,” Clinton added, tweaking her popular campaign slogan.
Internet trolls have recently targeted Jones, flooding her Twitter account with racist messages and images. The barrage of hateful comments forced Jones to briefly quit the social media platform last month.
The website hack on Wednesday revealed photos of the comedian’s driver’s license, passport and photos of Jones naked. Hackers also posted a photo of Harambe, the gorilla slain at the Cincinnati Zoo earlier this year. The Department of Homeland Security said Thursday that it is investigating the hack.
