A Harborcreek, Pa. teenager fatally shot his grandmother Tuesday during an argument because he didn’t want to go to a school meeting, officials said.
Hunter Riley Reeser, 14, is facing homicide and first-degree murder charges, according to local ABC affiliate WTAE.
Police say Reeser shot Sandra Orton, 60, in the head, then called her husband saying that he found her with the wound. Reeser then called 911 and later admitted to shooting Orton.
Authorities say Reeser told them he shot Orton because he didn’t want to go to a school meeting. He will be charged as an adult under Pennsylvania law, according to WTAE.
