James Corden may never get a chance to sing “Bound 2” with Kanye West, because the rap superstar keeps cancelling appearances on Carpool Karaoke.
According to an interview with Corden in British GQ, West has agreed to appear on the popular segment of the Late Late Show twice, but has cancelled each time.
“Kanye has been booked twice now and both times something came up,” Corden said. West was apparently quite apologetic for the cancellations, sending Corden three dozen roses “arranged in the shape of a cube” as a floral apology. “What could be more Kanye than that?” Corden said in the interview.
He’s optimistic that Yeezy will eventually take the passenger seat soon, though. “He’ll do it eventually. He wants to do it,” he said.
