Will Smith stopped by The Tonight Show Thursday to promote his new film, Suicide Squad. Host Jimmy Fallon gave him a great introduction, touting his many awards and nominations and the audience responded by giving the actor, rapper and Wild Wild West apologist a standing ovation. Smith was appreciative of the crowd’s cheers, but when he settled onto Fallon’s stage he thought about it for a minute and then announced, “I think I can do better.”
Smith then left the stage and Fallon delivered his introduction, again. Smith re-entered the stage with a new gimmick, but still wasn’t happy. So he tried again and Fallon was willing to go along with it, because he and Smith go way back (Smith was the first guest when Fallon took over from Jay Leno on The Tonight Show.) The third time was ….not the charm. Smith insisted on making one last entrance and he truly delivered a memorably epic entrance.
