The late, great New York hip-hop icon Notorious B.I.G. is the inspiration behind a new comedy series coming to TBS.
The series, called Think B.I.G. is currently under development at TBS and will chronicle the misadventures of an inner-city teenager trying to create a better future for his daughter and infant son, according to a TBS press release. Episode plotlines will draw from the rapper’s lyrics and the show description appears to mirror the life of Christopher Wallace, B.I.G.’s real name, who grew up in Brooklyn and had his first child at 21.
The project comes nearly 20 years after Wallace was killed in a Los Angeles drive-by shooting.
Think B.I.G. is one of two projects announced by TBS made in partnership with Mass Appeal. The network also ordered 10 episodes of the digital animated series Storyville.
