T he Democratic National Convention has been marked by disunity among Democrats, who protested both on the floor of the convention and in the streets of Philadelphia as the 2016 event began.
Supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders, who challenged former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary, faced scorching heat as they marched throughout the city. Chants of, “this is what democracy looks like” meshed with calls to “lock her up” as Sanders supporters made their voices heard from Philadelphia’s City Hall to Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park, which sits adjacent to the convention headquarters.
In the end, Clinton won the nomination, but with Sanders backers still going strong, the “political revolution” the Vermont Senator started lives on.

Hillary is the candidate of the war machine." Said Verlo.
