AMC released the first full-length trailer for The Walking Dead‘s seventh season during the show’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con Friday, giving viewers a look at what’s to come when the zombie drama returns in October.
But while the three-minute long preview shows familiar faces such as Carol and Morgan, and introduces new characters like comic book favorite Ezekiel and his pet tiger Shiva, it offers no hints about who Negan murdered with his barbed wire-covered baseball bat in the closing moments of the season six finale. Instead, the video begins with an emotional montage of past scenes featuring each potential victim, ending with an ominous shot of Lucille.
The Walking Dead returns Oct. 23 at 9 p.m. EST on AMC. Watch the full trailer below.
