Solo travel is a great way to see the world, but it’s not so fun when you’re honey-free on your honeymoon. That was the case for Pakistan resident Huma Mobin, whose husband, Arsalaan Sever Butt, didn’t get a visa in time to attend their second honeymoon trip to Greece. She thought of canceling the trip entirely, but it was non-refundable, so she found a different solution.
Mobin ended up going on the trip with her in-laws, and she admits that wasn’t happy about it at first. “I cried the first night on my mother-in-law’s shoulder, but she told me to make the best of it,” she told BuzzFeed. In the end, she found the silver lining in the form of a hilarious photo collection. Mobin posted an album of photos on Facebook that show her seeing the Grecian sights while leaving a space for her husband.
Mobin also lost her phone toward the end of the trip, so she made another space for her other missing love:
The album has been shared over 300 times as of Monday morning. See all of the photos here.
