For his first official royal engagement with his parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, two-year-old Prince George attended the Royal International Air Tattoo in Gloucestershire, England on Friday. But it wasn’t all smooth sailing for the normally well-behaved toddler, as he appeared to break down in some kind of tantrum at the start. His mother was quick to pick him up and soothe him, though, equipping him with ear protectors. From there on out, the little Prince looked to be in good spirits.
With the help of his father Prince William and some of the assembled pilots, Prince George was shown around a few of the vehicles, including a Squirrel helicopter and Red Arrow hawk. The occasion celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets; Kate Middleton is a patron of the unit. See more snaps from the event in the gallery above.
