Former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson recently filed a lawsuit against CEO Roger Ailes for sexual harassment. She alleges that he told her, “I think you and I should have had a sexual relationship a long time ago and then you’d be good and better and I’d be good and better.” Ailes denies the charges, alleging the suit is retribution for Carlson’s employment being terminated.
On Thursday, Bloomberg Politics produced a spliced video of clips in which Carlson’s Fox & Friends male colleagues comment on her appearance. “Look at her today, beautiful dress, you look wonderful,” co-host Eric Bolling says. The words “gorgeous” and “beautiful dress” are consistently tossed around throughout the clips, most of which end with Carlson shrugging at the camera.
In one segment, a male cohost asks a female guest commentator, “Do you like a woman masseuse or a male masseuse, just so I know?” Carlson tells the commentator: “Now you know what I go through!”
The comments pile up—with more comments calling Carlson “too hot” and suggesting that she should ride a mechanical bull in a skirt.
