Curvy model Denise Bidot has launched a new campaign to encourage all women to love themselves just the way they are.
“The movement creates a safe place for women from all stages in life to come together without judgment,” Bidot, 30, shared on Instagram about her “There Is No Wrong Way to Be a Woman” campaign. “It’s my home of self-love and confidence, and I’m so excited to open the door to everyone who feels inspired and wants to carry on the message!”
The model has launched a website that gathers the stories of her campaign’s “Class of 2016.”
“This diverse group of women range in age from 18 to 60, sizes 2 to 22, and come from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds,” she posted. “Their differences are exactly what make them beautiful! I promise, you will be inspired.”
“Being a woman to me is an anomaly, because no matter how society tries to group us, typecast us, or even understand us, they never will, for we are not the same,” says Hechavarria, 34, on the campaign’s website. “Our differences are what bring us together.”
Bidot also features Gina Lee Lewis, whom she describes as a Southern belle and cancer survivor.
“I am proud that I have finally overcome many challenges I have faced throughout my life, and I am pushing forward to be the person I have always wanted to be,” says Lewis, 46, on the site. “I am following my dreams to be someone my daughter can look up to and be proud of, and someone I can be proud of.”
