Donald Trump will try to turn the page on a particularly tumultuous stretch of his presidential campaign on Wednesday when he levels a broadside against Hillary Clinton, using what his campaign is billing as a major speech to paint her as a failed Secretary of State.
The presumptive Republican nominee’s speech at the Trump SoHo Hotel in New York City is expected to focus partly on her tenure as the United States’ top diplomat; he will seek to hold her partly responsible for the rise of the militant group ISIS.
Trump has seen his approval ratings plummet and concerns among Republican leaders about his candidacy reach a boiling point in June, amid his criticism of a judge’s Mexican ancestry, his response to the Orlando shooting, and his recently disclosed paltry fundraising numbers.
His speech is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. E.T. Watch it live above.
