Blake Lively Will Surprise You With Her Harry Potter Knowledge

On The Tonight Show Monday night, a very pregnant Blake Lively faced off against host Jimmy Fallon in a quiz show bit. The 28-year-old actress got to choose the first category.

“Well, I feel like Jimmy would probably know a lot about, um, Harry Potter,” Lively suggested.

“I surprisingly know a little bit!” he shot back.

But it quickly turned out that Lively was the superior Potterhead, throwing out more obscure characters like Argus Filch and Buckbeak the hippogriff. Fallon, meanwhile, played it safe with Harry, Ron and Hermione. When Lively tossed in Hedwig, Fallon challenged her choice — but, as any serious Harry Potter fan knows, Hedwig is Harry’s beloved snowy owl. Naturally, Lively won the round, and claimed her spot in the Potter pantheon as a serious fan.

They also played a round of Spanish words (“Besame!” “Burrito!”), although Fallon prevailed. When it came to four letter words, though, Lively came out on top, thanks to the help of body parts like legs and ears (the words for the parts, that is).
