In news that will no doubt tickle the Bey Hive, a queen bee residing at a Swedish University will be named Beeyoncé, after the other Queen Bey.
ABC News reports that the name came as a result from an online poll put out by the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, who asked the Internet for help to name their two queen bees at the campus’ two new bee hives.
The name “Bee McBeeface” was the other winner alongside “Beeyoncé,” with the former winning 69 percent of the vote and the Beyoncé themed name clocking in at 16 percent.
This isn’t the first time that Beyoncé has been honored as a namesake; in 2012, a bee-like horsefly with a “golden booty” was named Scaptia (Plinthina) beyonceae after the Lemonade singer.
