Justin Bieber joined the many fans and celebrities mourning the untimely loss of Christina Grimmie when he gave an emotional tribute to the 22-year-old The Voice singer during a Winnipeg, Manitoba concert stop on his Purpose tour.
Bieber dedicated his performance of “Purpose” in his home country to Grimmie; during the song, he couldn’t help but shed some tears before singing, “Grimmie, can you hear me?” in the middle of the performance.
Bieber and the late singer became close while she was touring with Bieber’s ex, Selena Gomez, whose father also managed Grimmie’s career.
