Donald Trump will look to court skeptical evangelicals Friday during a speech at the Faith and Freedom Conference in Washington.
Evangelical voters at the conference can expect to hear appeals from the billionaire as he looks to shore up votes before a November general election against Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
Trump has had difficulty winning over some traditional Republican voters of faith, according to an NBC News report, and many evangelicals lent their support during the primaries to other candidates like Texas Sen. Ted Cruz or Dr. Ben Carson.
