In a new video series for AOL Makers, Caitlyn Jenner discusses what it was like telling her children that she was transitioning.
She said she first approached Brandon Jenner, who she calls the “most tolerant” of her children. In their conversation, Brandon recalled all the times he had been recognized as the child of the Olympian. “He said, ‘Dad, I’ve always been proud to be your son,” Jenner said. “‘But I’ve never been more proud of you than I am right now.'”
Jenner was floored. “I thought, ‘You know what? I think—I hope—it’s going to be OK.'”
Her encounter with Brendan gave her the courage to approach the rest of her children. “My kids came over to me,” she said. “It was just good and positive.”
