When George Lucas created Star Wars he probably never envisioned the fearsome stormtroopers moonwalking. Yet they did just that, not in a galaxy far, far away, but during an episode of Britain’s Got Talent.
“What we’re about to witness could be described as historic,” said judge Simon Cowell by way of introduction for Boogie Storm, the stormtrooper dance squad that is taking over the planet (and the galaxy).
Before they busted out their moves, Darth Vader reminded his Imperial forces not to embarrass him on the dance floor, and they did not disappoint Lord Vader. Instead they showed him what they could do with a Michael Jackson soundtrack. Inspired by the songs, they did a moonwalk and a bunch of other sick moves sure to impress Sith Lords, droids, Ewoks and even Simon Cowell.
