For the first time in a while in this election cycle, Donald Trump isn’t the only person saying misogynistic things about women.
In an interview Thursday with the Washington Post, former Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell discussed Republican frontrunner Donald Trump’s success with voters. While the candidate has seen massive success in suburban areas, Rendell said: “For every one [Democrat in certain areas of Pennsylvania], he’ll lose one and a half, two Republican women. Trump’s comments like, ‘You can’t be a 10 if you’re flat-chested,’ that’ll come back to haunt him.”
He then followed up with this thought: “There are probably more ugly women in America than attractive women. People take that stuff personally.”
This quote is particularly cringe-worthy considering that Rendell is a superdelegate backing Hillary Clinton.
