Singer Sinead O’Connor is “safe and is no longer listed as a missing/endangered person,” said Wilmette, Ill. police, after they had issued a well-being check for her earlier Monday.
The police said someone who was concerned had called when the Irish singer had not been seen since she left for a bike ride at 6 a.m. Sunday. The Wilmette police searched for O’Connor to check on her well-being, and located her Monday afternoon, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Authorities said they did not know why O’Connor was in the suburb about 15 miles north of Chicago.
