The Dixie Chicks have clearly been drinking the Lemonade. During their concert in Manchester, England on Saturday night, the country group performed a cover of Beyoncé’s “Daddy Lessons” off her latest album.
Lead vocalist Natalie Maines missed her intro, laughing, “I already messed this whole thing up.” The band recovered, and fan-shot video of the performance was posted on Facebook.
Beyoncé debuted “Daddy Lessons” during her Lemonade HBO special last weekend alongside a release on Tidal followed by iTunes and other digital retailers.
Both the Dixie Chicks and Beyoncé continue their respective tours with the former hitting up London on Sunday and Glasgow on Tuesday before heading to Ireland.
