Would an eye-roll by any other name throw quite so much shade? Twitter has erupted over Mary Pat Christie’s alleged eye-roll during Donald Trump’s now-infamous speech accusing Hillary Clinton of playing the “woman’s card.” Watch it here:
The only thing is, we’re not quite sure whether this is an eye-roll or not. Is she definitely scoffing? Or is this just the normal face of a woman watching the speech of a golden-haired billionaire who knocked her husband out of the race for the Republican nomination? Is she expressing a hidden disdain for Donald Trump’s “woman card” comments, or are the muscles in her face simply moving naturally to contain the motions of her eyes and mouth, as facial muscles are designed to do?
The First Lady of New Jersey has declined to comment. But we want to know what you think.
