Watch Michael B. Jordan Rag on Kobe Bryant in a New Apple TV Ad

Kobe Bryant is quickly approaching the end of his storied basketball career. And with just a few games left on his farewell tour, Apple TV released a new ad on Sunday that shows the 37-year-old Lakers guard reminiscing about his 20 years in the league.

In the spot, he sits down with Michael B. Jordan to discuss the actor’s portrayal of him in a biopic. As he shows him a clip of young Kobe, he tries to give some insight into who he was in his prime. “See that?” he says. “That’s the guy you’re playing in this movie. Cold-blooded assassin.”

However, Jordan reveals he has a different take on the Black Mamba character: “Locked in a battle with father time. Like a hero, on the verge of a steep decline.”
