A shark appears to have rammed itself against the side of a couple’s jet ski in video said to be shot off Fraser Island in Platypus Bay, Australia.
The 17-second clip was filmed as a husband and wife saw an outline of the shark from a distance and steered toward it to get a better view. After it came up to the water’s surface, “No one was injured, although the jet ski did get some small scuff marks where the shark contacted the ski,” according to a description of the video on YouTube.
As the Facebook user Libby Williams — who appears to be the woman in this story — wrote in a post on the social network, “I literally had to move my leg so it didn’t get mauled!!”
