A flight headed to Japan was forced to return to the airport in Hawaii last week after a passenger standing in a yoga posed refused to sit down, according to a report.
Hyongtae Pae walked to the back of the United Airlines plane on March to meditate and do yoga when the meal service began, according to an Associated Press report. The FBI’s complaint says that Pae became violent—pushing his wife and threatening to kill other passengers—when he was told to return to his seat.
Pae was reportedly on suicide watch in a federal detention center and told he could not travel home to South Korea for the time being, according to the report.
