But in addition to the astoundingly amazing experience of growing a human inside of you, pregnancy also comes with a weird array of side effects — weird cravings, strange skin reactions and accumulating hair in places you didn’t think hair grew. [Adele](http://www.people.com/people/adele/) knows all about the latter, as she announced to thousands of fans at a Glasgow concert. “When I got pregnant, I had so much testosterone in me that I grew a beard,” she said, [according to _The Mirror_](http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/adele-reveals-shes-grown-beard-7639289). “I only cropped it last night. It’s actually true. I’m not telling a joke. I actually have a beard, but I’m proud of it. I call it Larry.” She has [son Angelo](http://www.people.com/article/adele-opens-up-about-son-angelo-to-npr) to thank for the facial hair, which also helps her relate to boyfriend Simon Konecki on a follicular level. “My man’s got a good beard,” she said. “He trims it sometimes in the summer.
