UPDATE: Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony Tiffith confirmed on Instagram that Kendrick Lamar’s project will be released Thursday night. “Thank @kingjames [LeBron James] for this,” he writes. James tweeted Feb. 23 he wanted to hear “those untitled tracks asap!!!”

EARLIER: New Kendrick Lamar music might be coming sooner than you think.

After Anthony Tiffith — the CEO of Lamar’s label Top Dawg Entertainment — promised to release a new project this week, a Lamar album titled untitled unmastered has popped up on Spotify.

The record has a 2016 release date and is currently unplayable. The eight tracks span 34 minutes and have names featuring the world “untitled” along with a date (“untitled 01 08.19.2014”).

Lamar claimed last month he had a “chamber” of unreleased material that didn’t make his second record, To Pimp a Butterfly: “I think probably close to 10 songs that I’m in love with that I’ll still play and still perform that didn’t make the cut,” he explained.

The Grammy-winning rapper has performed a slew of songs on late night shows that have been untitled and unreleased, including on The Colbert Report and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Tiffith responded to a fan on Twitter who asked for untitled tracks to be released by saying he’d think about releasing them.
