Essence is holding its ninth annual Black Women in Hollywood luncheon on Thursday, as the magazine honors diverse stars ahead of this weekend’s Academy Awards.
Appearances are planned by Oprah Winfrey, Shonda Rhimes, Nick Cannon, Ryan Coogler, Leon Bridges, Zendaya and more. The Black Women in Hollywood Awards will be presented to actor Tracee Ellis Ross, director and actor Debbie Allen, and entertainment lawyer Nina Shaw.
The luncheon is scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m. P.T., 2:45 p.m. E.T. Watch it live above.
