British pop star Charli XCX is launching a new record label—and she’s celebrating with some new music.
The songwriting force behind hits from Selena Gomez, Iggy Azalea and Icona Pop will drop the four-song Vroom Vroom EP this Friday via her very own Vroom Vroom Recordings, and she’s just debuted a snippet of the title track.
Produced by experimental pop producer SOPHIE, “Vroom Vroom” isn’t exactly a new song—she’s performed the song live in the past and played the studio version over Beats 1 on Apple Music—but now you can hear the metallic banger in high quality for the first time, above.

The singer has also signed two artists, RIVRS and Cuckoolander, to Vroom Vroom Recordings and shared snippets of their new tracks as well.
“Vroom Vroom Recordings is my new, experimental pop label and it will combine my love for bubblegum pop with mystery and darkness,” Charli said in an email to The Fader. “The artists coming up through it will be sharp, potent, deadly, and ultimately, will leave their mark on pop music.”
Update: She also shared another new song from the EP, “Trophy,” on Beats 1 on Tuesday:
