One of the two groups campaigning for the U.K. to leave the European Union has just released a parody song called ‘Britain’s Coming Home.’
The Abba-style video, replete with synthesizer music, parodies the popular British song ‘Three Lions (Football’s Coming Home)’ by Baddiel & Skinner & Lightning Seeds.
The video, which features two women wearing sequinned Union Jack tops while swaying in front of a billowing British flag, is written and performed by former parliamentary candidate Mandy Boylett.
Boylett, who is from the right-wing United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP), is a campaigner for Grassroots Out, one of the two anti-E.U. groups vying to lead in the pro-Brexit campaign in the upcoming referendum.
“They’ve taken all our fish and money through the years” sing the duo in the budget parody, as they slowly list out the many real or perceived indignities the E.U. has inflicted on the U.K. “But we know the E.U. is full of flaws and they’ve opened our doors, overruled many laws.”
