Dallas police are close to wrapping up their investigation involving Johnny Manziel after his ex-girlfriend claimed the Cleveland Browns quarterback attacked her in late January.
Investigators have reviewed medical records provided by Colleen Crowley, who has accused Manziel of hitting her and dragging her into a car, police spokesman Maj. Midge Boyle told the Associated Press on Saturday. She also said Manziel threatened to kill himself after the confrontation in a Dallas hotel room that left her with temporary hearing loss in one ear from being hit so hard, according to the AP.
Manziel hasn’t been charged or interviewed by police yet as the detective on the high-profile case works to gather “all the facts,” Boyle said.
