Officials in Southern California have now located and recovered both planes involved in a mid-air collision Friday that resulted in a large-scale search.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced Wednesday that they had recovered the second plane along with a female victim.
Police found two other victims Sunday in the wreckage of the other plane. The planes were recovered some two miles outside of the Los Angeles and Long Beach Ports in open water.
Both crash sites were located underwater by remote operated vehicles and recovered by dive teams, according to the L.A. Sheriff’s Department.
