Actress Jenna Fischer reawakened _The Office_ fans’ Jim-and-Pam feelings on last Wednesday’s _Watch What Happens Live_ when she commented that there were parts of [herself and Krasinski that were “genuinely in love”](http://www.ew.com/article/2016/01/21/the-office-jenna-fischer-john-krasinski "undefined") during the filming of the show. “There’s a real part of me that is Pam and a real part of him that is Jim, and those parts of us were genuinely in love with one another,” she told a caller. “But in real life, we aren’t totally Pam and totally Jim, so in real life, we’re not the perfect match.” The response to her remarks was overwhelming, but Krasinski [tells The Daily Beast](http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/01/26/john-krasinski-sorry-office-fans-jenna-fischer-and-i-were-not-genuinely-in-love.html "undefined") that he feels his costar was misinterpreted. “I think that was wildly misquoted or taken out of context,” [Krasinski says](http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/01/26/john-krasinski-sorry-office-fans-jenna-fischer-and-i-were-not-genuinely-in-love.html "undefined"). “I’m sure she was trying to say something nice about how genuine the acting relationship was, of bringing a relationship that became that popular onscreen — and I think we both feel it’s such an honor to be a part of that relationship.
