The only thing worse than finding your car covered in two feet of snow during New York City’s second biggest snow storm would be finding a rodent inside of it or on top of it.
An Instagram user uploaded a video of what appears to be a mouse (some say a rat) popping out of a Jonas snow mound on a sidewalk and then diving right back in, burrowing toward a parked car. The video ends with the critter looking like it is about to crawl into the wheel of a parked car. The user says the video was shot in Brooklyn Heights.
The rodent has already been nicknamed “snow rat,” a reference to the rat famous for dragging a pizza slice down subway stairs in a YouTube video (that some now believe was staged by an animal trainer).
