Ryan Gosling helped everyone learn how to pronounce Saoirse Ronan’s first name (like inertia), and now Ronan is ready to pay the lesson forward to other Irish monikers.
During her wildly charming appearance with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday’s episode of The Late Show, Ronan helped the host pronounce a handful of tricky Irish names, including Tadhg, Niamh, Oisin, and Caoimhe (“You go to hell,” Colbert joked after hearing Ronan say that final one).
Ronan, who stars in Brooklyn, also taught Colbert how to speak with an Irish accent. The whole thing is just the best.
