Now that Ronda Rousey won’t be fighting at UFC 200 in July, it seems like she’ll have some more time on her hands to spend with family and friends. In fact, Amy Schumer posted a photo of herself with the 28-year-old former bantamweight champion on Tuesday, the same day the news was announced.
The Trainwreck star was first linked with Rousey in November when Schumer tweeted a joke about her doppelganger Holly Holm, who gave Rousey her first career loss in the UFC 193 fight. However, this Instagram selfie is the first time we’ve seen physical evidence of the blonde duo spending time together.

And although it’s not clear exactly why the two were hanging out, it could have something to do with Rousey’s upcoming gig hosting the Jan. 23 episode of Saturday Night Live. Because let’s be real, you’d pick Amy as your comedy coach, too.
