Rupert Murdoch and Jerry Hall are engaged!

After a four-month romance, the pair announced their engagement on the Births, Marriages and Deaths page of Murdoch’s newspaper, The Times on Monday.

“Mr Rupert Murdoch, father of Prudence, Elisabeth, Lachlan, James, Grace and Chloe Murdoch, and Miss Jerry Hall, mother of Elizabeth, James, Georgia and Gabriel Jagger are delighted to announce their engagement,” the classified ad read.

The 84-year-old billionaire businessman is the chairman of News Corporation which owns The Times.

Murdoch and Hall, 59, made a rare appearance at the Golden Globes together on Sunday, after “getting engaged over the weekend in Los Angeles,” according to the announcement.

The former model and actress did not appear to be wearing an engagement ring at the awards bash.

If their relationship wasn’t confirmed already, they “have been dating since late summer after being introduced by one of Mr Murdoch’s sisters and his niece in Australia.”

The pair first made their romance public in October when Murdoch planted a kiss on his beloved when they attended the Rugby World Cup final in London.

Hall was famously involved with Mick Jagger from 1977 to 1999, and had four children together Georgia May, 23, Elizabeth, 31, James, 30, and Gabriel, 18.

Murdoch was most recently married to third wife Wendi Deng, 46, and the pair divorced in 2013. The couple had two children together, Chloe, 12, and Grace Helen, 14.
