It is fun to dream of a day when hoverboard-like devices will be the way to get around — once they stop bursting into flames.
In a parody video entitled “Tradies in the future,” Australian entertainer Jackson O’Doherty imagines what this future could look like by using hoverboard-like scooters to more efficiently trim grass, deliver packages, paint walls, mop floors, and retrieve carts in big-box store parking lots, among other jobs. The minute-and-a-half clip has racked up more than 3.5 million views in about 48 hours.
